PVC Schedule 80 pipe and fittings are designed for pressure applications where the temperature will not exceed 140°F. With a thicker wall than Schedule 40, Schedule 80 has a higher pressure rating, making it highly durable and easy to install. Installation requires the use of both primer and solvent cement.

PVC Schedule 40 is highly durable, with high tensile and impact strength, and better sound deadening qualities than PVC Schedule 40 DWV Foam Core. It is easy to install and requires the use of primer and solvent cement for DWV applications, where gradual sloping DWV fittings must be used.
